Arvin Fekri (1988) earned his DMA (PhD) in music at the University of Toronto (2016) and Bachelor’s and Master’s at the University of British Columbia. During this time he was the recipient of several prestigious music scholarships.
He has experience composing in a variety of musical styles, ranging from traditional and modern Classical music to Electronic, Rap, EDM and Rock music. He has had his music performed by the likes of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Saxophilia, Nu:BC and others. He has scored several films, including For Mankind (2009), Autumn (2011), Act 7 (2017), From Syria to Hope (2018), Re-cycle (2018), Deluge (2020), Bubble (2021), Unwanted Notes (2021) and many others, some of which are credited on IMDb. Currently, he is active scoring cartoons, films, videogames and writing concert music, and is the head composer of the game, The Lays of Althas: Sundered Order.
